Who couldn't fall in love with the old industrial vibe of a renovated cotton mill?? The huge windows lining brick walls filled the open rooms with abundant light and beautiful symmetry. Revolution Mill (and its Events Center) in Greensboro, NC is a prime example of holding rustic values in a modernized renovation.

The Best of 2016

As I'm diving into 2017 as a full time photographer (so blessed,) I felt a huge desire to bring all of my personal favorite photos from 2016 together. In a sense, this is an ode to the past year and I am so grateful of how far I have come. I've learned to identify myself as a photographer, even though I held a nearly full time job at a restaurant. It's been hard to come to terms with having such a simple, no education needed job while pursuing the career I went to college for.

Greenhouse in the Fall with Andrea

Andrea and I had been feeling pretty photo bummed when we planned for this little mini session. We also hadn't seen each other since my wedding! Our schedules barely line up to give us time to do anything so it was nice to have the afternoon to do our thing. It was so refreshing going to explore this greenhouse (that she is familiar with, but that I've never visited.) Actually, I take that back, I've been there once. In the middle of the night with an extremely flat tire.
